Bookworm

I'm here up just cause I can't get myself to sleep. Biological clock really screwed up.

Anyway, I'm in the mid of a new novel I just gotten called Out of the Shadows by Susan Lewis and so far it's proving the worth it has. For the first time in a long time, I decided to go ahead with something that does not have an attractive cover rather a simple and plain one. Because the previous look to be interesting ones have done nothing but let me down big time with a waste of money. Yeah, don't judge a book by it's cover.

Basically this novel talks about a single mother with a useless husband in jail going through the rigorous hardship with her 13 year old daughter. Not gonna explain any further but I just came to realized something common about this book as well as the few others I've bought whereby the type of stories I personally like now differ to the past. From teens romantic comedy now moved on to a more elderly one, usually involving people in their thirties and so on. This, is something that's scary. And I doubt this shows I'm growing up too fast, just that they are usually more meaningful. Besides, there's often a twist in the story rather than the cliche i love you, you love me, happily ever after. You know I hate them so badly.

Oh well. It's good to start reading again.
