How'dy ?

HAPPY 2012.

Just a quick update on life here in Australia, because I can't really settle down just yet by this week and well, the internet quota is running low. And sorry there aren't pictures yet. There is so much things I want to blog about but couldn't find the right time. I still want to jot a recap of my 2011. Prolly next week.

Firstly, Melbourne was a tad tiring as both me and my brother were dependent on a day to day basis kinda thing in terms of accommodation, food, and transportation. For the whole week, we were practically surviving on Mcd's 5 bucks meal and 7E's 1 buck coffee daily. We've also spend NYE in the central business district itself, anticipated the 9.30pm and 12.00am fireworks at three different locations. I'm not too sure about the crowd in Malaysia but over here, it's madness with everyone squeezing between each other, having to climb over fences to escape from the block roads, police officers rounding around to make sure there aren't fights and drunken people on the roads. We stayed in the airport that very night and the crowd still didn't die after 3 plus in the morning.

Now, reaching to Tasmania, it's a relief to see my sister! Which has the car, accommodation, food, plans, money, EVERYTHING (sneaky smile). Also, this would be the time I myself would complain about other people staying overseas but yeah, I miss home. The familiar territory which we are not intimidated by rather proud of owning it. The super duper spicy Indomee food and the weather. Summer this year is actually very hot, I'm totally burned and tanned, it's not a joke.

All in all, if there's one thing I really like it about here, it's the peaceful pace of life and how the sun only sets at 9.15pm. Having picnics at random places as long there are grass, drinking a hot cup of joe while folding up your legs by the port, shopping for clothes that makes you wanna sleep in them everyday... can't really get them in Malaysia.

So yeah, not really a short update after all heh? Updates on social networks are for pure interest of sharing and to update people back home, if you guys still wanna know. (I'm watching you signal). No intentions of bragging cause sometimes, just sometimes, while it is assume I'm having the time of my life here (which I am too) I do wish I could be back home to be with the ones I love.
